One of our projects

I know that I told you last night that I would take pictures of the garage - before and after- well, I forgot. Dan and I started to work and the next thing I knew it was two hours later and I had not taken any pictures. I thought about taking some before I fixed lunch and then we got busy doing something and the next thing I knew it was after two and we had made great progress - so tomorrow I will show you pictures of the after - you just won't have any before pictures to compare it to.

One of the things that I was able to take pictures of is the next step we took in the laundry room. I had posted pictures of the laundry room with the new washer/dryer, but we were not finished with what we wanted to do in there. I wanted more storage - especially for some things that are just sorta bulky and don't fit well in the cabinets. So, Dan cut some boards down today - just to give us an idea of what it will look like when we get the right shelving and this is what we got ----

The picture above is taken from the kitchen door with the shelves on the left and the washer/dryer right in front of me. The picture below would be looking back toward the kitchen and I would be standing in front of the dryer.

This picture would be coming in the back door from the garage and looking straight ahead. Looks pretty good huh? I think it is really going to look good once we get the correct shelving up, but it will work for a little while. When we get other things finished up we will get the correct shelving, but it isn't a priority right now.

Now after supper tonight, Dan and I went for a boat ride - it was nice to relax a little after working hard all day. I did get a picture of the "big guy" that I thought you might like to see - hope you enjoy!

I'll post more tomorrow!

Where does time go?

I have really fallen off the blogging wagon I guess.  I can't seem to get a schedule down so I don't post - but it's been almost...
