Ride to the End of the Road

I don't have pictures of the house today - I know, you are surprised  shocked!  I am too.  Actually, I planned on showing you the reno of the living room and entry; however, Mountain Man and I were gone all day today and we will be gone all day tomorrow - so no pictures.  Instead I thought I would share some pictures from our trip to Alaska.

As some of you know, Mountain Man and I worked a summer in Juneau, Alaska before settling down in Lake Placid.  One day, we decided to take a drive out to "the end of the road".  Just to let you know, when people in Alaska say "the end of the road" they mean it - there is no dirt road after the paved road stops ends.  Not even a little dirt path.  Nope, when they say "end of the road" it means there is no more road - instead there is a glacier and then the ocean.  Seriously.

So here are some pictures from our little trip to "the end of the road".

Hope you enjoyed!

Hugs -

Carol

  1. Your photos of that beautiful place are spectacular. It must have been unbelievable to have seen it in person. My brother went to Alaska a few years ago and he still talks about the beauty of the state. Thank you for joining Your Cozy Home Party. ------------ Shannon

Where does time go?

I have really fallen off the blogging wagon I guess.  I can't seem to get a schedule down so I don't post - but it's been almost...
